My Story

My passion for photography began in elementary school when I got my first camera and received the honor of being selected as the photographer for my 6th grade newspaper.  I studied photography in high school and got my first job as a photographer at a portrait studio right after graduation at the ripe old age of 17. I got married to my high school sweetheart the following year.  After a couple of years I took an extended hiatus as a professional photographer to raise our two kids, limiting my photography to family, friends and an occasional wedding.  Our kids are now grown with children of their own.

In 2009, while living in East Texas, I was inspired to pick up where I left off and begin again.  We've now returned to Vancouver, Washington in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
